Guided farm tours are available each Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Learn sustainable and organic methods that we practice for a diversity of plants. One and one-half hour tours are available from 10 to 3 but plan to explore all day. Your tour can be customized to showcase organic gardening, wildcrafting, medicinal herbs, mushrooms, gardening for childern, edible flowers and much more.

Please remember to wear walking/hiking shoes and to bring a sun hat and a rain jacket. Sunscreen, water and lunch snacks are also recommended for your day. After the tour, the property is available to explore for the rest of the day. Open meadow walking trails are found throughout the property. This site is a photographer’s and painter’s paradise and is a great reason to bring your equipment too. You are welcome to help with the variety of farm chores or just kick back. Undisturbed long-range Roan Mountain views provide an incredible westerly backdrop to any kind of game, nature watching, reading or sunbathing!
